Why this lab exists
In today's world, people are taught how to build careers, earn money, stay productive, and compete — but almost no one is taught how to feel, how to heal, or how to build healthy relationships.
We learn mathematics and history in school, but not how to handle heartbreak. We learn financial planning, but not emotional planning. We chase success in the external world, while our inner world remains untrained and unexamined.
Emotional education is missing from our schools, workplaces, and even our homes.
Most of us enter adulthood knowing how to manage a job — but not how to manage conflict, rejection, attachment patterns, loss, fear of abandonment, or our deeper connection with ourselves.
We have apps for fitness, productivity, languages, and wealth building — but almost nowhere do we have a structured system for emotional healing, self-relationship, interpersonal wisdom, and spiritual grounding.
The Relationships Lab exists to fill this gap.
Who is behind it
The Relationships Lab was born from two journeys that met with a shared purpose. Nitin Upadhyaya comes from engineering and physics — teaching, researching, and exploring the laws of the external world. Gurleen Khokhar comes from psychology and spiritual healing — understanding the laws of the inner world.
Both of us have lived through complex relationships, difficult emotional seasons, and moments of rebuilding life from the ground up. These experiences shaped our empathy — and our commitment to creating a structured yet compassionate system for emotional education.
The Lab is our shared offering — where science meets spirituality, and where emotional growth becomes accessible to anyone seeking clarity, resilience, and meaning.
Our Journey
We met when Nitin stayed as a guest at Gurleen's Airbnb — and a long conversation on psychology and her podcast DeepTalks became the first seed of collaboration.
We built Dhun App — a platform connecting listeners with people who needed to be heard.
We realised the enormous lack of relationship education — and began a YouTube channel sharing emotional tools and insights.
Today, we combine Indian Knowledge Systems + Psychology + Tech to offer a deep, integrated emotional healing system.
